At almost 9 metres tall and weighing 20 tonnes,
∞ Blue (Infinity Blue) is an immersive installation that pays homage to the cyanobacteria, one of the world’s smallest living beings. Around 3 billion years ago, cyanobacteria first developed oxygenic photosynthesis. In doing so, they changed the nature of our planet. MH Design manufactured the technical components that created the smoke rings.

Fordlândia was built in the wilderness of the Amazon by American industrialist Henry Ford in the late 1920’s to secure a supply of rubber for his empire. Inspired by the tropical ghost town, Studio Swine imagined a world where Fordlândia was a success, combining nature and industry. MH Design helped fabricate the furniture products made from ebonite - a natural rubber from the Brazillian rainforest.  Fordlandia was exhibited in Fashion Space Gallery and part of London Design Festival 2016.

The Green Room installation was based on an "abstract clock" made up of a series of neon-coloured silicone cords, each joined to a motorised revolving arm at the top of the stairwell. As the arm turns, the strings rise and fall one by one, creating a wave-like motion. MHD was involved in the technical design and fabrication of the mechanism for designers studio Glithero. The installation extended across six floors at the V&A museum for the 2016 London Design Festival.

Named after the biggest slum in Venezuela, Petare brings the proper Venezuelan Street Food experience to London. The brief was to produce a mobile unit that looked like a house that had come straight from the slums of Venezuela. It wasn't very practical to buy bricks from Venezuela so each brick needed to be modelled to look just like one. The stand has been used for Field Day Festival 2016 and now has a regular pitch near the Gherkin in London organised by KERB food.

MHD was awarded £10,000 to commercialise a flood product idea from London South Bank University. The invention prevents water from entering building doorways; which is the main entry point during floods. The product regularly exhibits at the annual Flood Expo event at the ExCel London, the UK's national exhibition centre. The product has been manufactured and sold to several companies including Aviva, which is the UK's largest Insurance company. 

The product has recently passed the latest British Standard, Kitemark PAS 1188-1:2014. Testing included waves and current flow as well as water up to 840mm high against the barrier for up to 7 days with the water level falling and rising to simulate how floodwater could drop and then return in a live situation.

MH Design was commissioned to help fabricate “Spoils of War” - AK-47s covered in $1 bills and "Virtue of the Vicious" – AK-47s covered in butterflies, for artist Bran Symondson. His pieces have been bought and collected from artists such as Jake Chapman to entrepreneurs such as Piers Linney (Dragons Den). His artwork can be found in the Maddox Gallery in Mayfair alongside artists such as Andy Warhol and Banksy.

This point of sales display was produced for Marks & Spencer's new dessert product. The unit is comprised of over 3000 individual bars.

This piece was exhibited at the Swarovski Designers of the Future Awards, 2015. The piece explores the future of resources in luxury design. Using different sound frequencies, the crystals within vibrate, forming intricate patterns.

Muller Light Greek Style yoghurt won product of the year 2013 in the Healthy Yoghurt Category. Max Harvey Design was involved in the model-making of the product advertised on television.

The baby piano is a piece designed by Based Upon and created by Complete Fabrication. The form is based on the repeating spiral patterns of the omnipresent throughout our universe. Max Harvey Design was involved in the fabrication of the core form.

This was a fabrication piece for the Lakeland store in the Bluewater, London Branch. The piece is comprised of simplified kitchen utensils, scaled to 3m in height.

Becks Saphire was advertised at the London Superbowl in 2013. Complete Fab and Max Harvey Design produced rigs to achieve the liquid effect.

Claire Morgan is a taxidermy artist who captures moments in time by suspending parts of the natural world on string. Max Harvey Design and Complete Fabrication produced cabinets that facilitate the work to make it transportable and longer lasting for exhibitions.

Max Harvey Design worked closely with the Contra Agency to design and produce the set for the 2014 Christian Aid advert. This includes the making of an artificial fireplace.

A task lamp that combines traditional hardwoods with modern industrial materials. The product utilises low-energy LED lights.
